LART Magnetic Powder – Cat Eye Effect in Dipping Powder Manicure

LART Magnetic Powder is a transparent finishing powder that allows you to create a magnetic cat eye effect in dipping powder manicure.

The metallic particles contained in the powder react to a magnet, creating a dimensional, shimmering streak on the nail. Depending on how you work with the magnet, you can achieve both a classic, defined cat eye and a more subtle, diffused soft / silky cat eye effect.

Magnetic Powder is transparent, so it can be applied over any LART PRO dipping powder color, allowing you to achieve a different result each time.

The metallic particles also influence the final appearance of the base color:

• on lighter shades, they can add a more visible metallic reflection,
• on darker shades, they create a brighter, luminous streak and a sense of depth.

This means that one product can completely transform the appearance of many colors in your collection.

Perform the manicure according to the standard LART PRO application procedure until you have completed the shaping and finishing of the colored layers.

Create the Magnetic Effect One Nail at a Time:

1. On a thoroughly prepared nail, apply an even layer of Gel Base.
2. Dip the nail into Magnetic Powder.
3. Gently remove any excess powder.
4. Apply the first layer of Gel Top.
5. Immediately apply Quick Dry while the Gel Top is still wet.
6. Immediately after applying Quick Dry, place the magnet over the nail and create your desired effect.

Important: Work with the magnet immediately. As the product sets, the particles gradually become less responsive to movement.

The final effect also depends on the type of magnet you choose.

Final Steps

After creating the effect on all nails:

7. Apply Quick Dry.
8. Apply a final layer of Gel Top to each nail.
