LART PRO

How do I apply the LART PRO dip powder system?

The PRO system is intended mainly for professionals and people already familiar with dip powder manicure. Because the method contains more application steps, we do not recommend it as the first system for complete beginners.

  1. Shape and gently mattify the natural nail plate.
  2. Prepare the cuticle area.
  3. Apply Gel Base to part of the nail and dip into Natural Clear building powder.
  4. Remove excess powder with a soft brush before applying another layer.
  5. Build the structure gradually with another layer of Gel Base and Natural Clear.
  6. Add an additional building layer if the nail requires reinforcement.
  7. Apply Quick Dry over the area covered with building powder.
  8. File and refine the structure.
  9. Smooth the surface with a buffer.
  10. Remove all remaining dust.
  11. Apply Gel Base over the entire nail and add the first colour powder layer.
  12. Repeat for the second colour layer.
  13. Protect the colour with Gel Base and Natural Clear.
  14. Apply Quick Dry over the entire nail.
  15. File and smooth the finished structure.
  16. Refine the cuticle area if required.
  17. Remove all remaining dust and make sure the nails are completely dry.
  18. Apply Quick Dry again.
  19. Wipe each nail with a lint-free pad.
  20. Apply Gel Top in two thin layers.
  21. Finish with cuticle oil.
How does LART PRO Gel Base work?

Gel Base PRO is the liquid base used with LART PRO building and colour powders.

  • Compatible with PRO powders available in the LART range.
  • Features a long brush for precise application.
  • Designed to provide durability and controlled application.
  • Can be used when building or extending the nail with compatible powders.
  • Helps create an even surface before colour application.
Why is the nail built gradually instead of applying Gel Base over the entire nail immediately?

Gradual application helps reinforce the areas of the nail that require the most structure, particularly the free edge and central part of the nail.

The building layers should therefore be applied progressively before the colour layers are applied over the complete nail plate. Avoid applying Gel Base onto the skin or cuticle area.

With transparent and semi-transparent colours, we recommend using an appropriate building powder underneath to avoid uneven colour distribution.

Why has my Gel Base become thick or cloudy?

Powder may have entered the bottle during application. Always remove excess powder thoroughly before applying the next liquid layer and avoid pressing the brush too firmly against the nail.

How does Quick Dry PRO work?

Quick Dry activates and hardens LART PRO powder layers. It is required when using PRO building or colour powders.

  • Activates and hardens powder layers.
  • Can be used when building or extending the nail.
  • Designed for professional dip powder application.
How does Gel Top PRO work?

Gel Top is the finishing product responsible for shine and colour protection. The nail surface should already be properly shaped and smoothed before application.

  • Apply the first layer very thinly.
  • Allow the first layer to dry before applying the second.
  • Apply two thin layers for the best finish.
  • Wait until the finish is fully dry before applying cuticle oil.
Why is my finished manicure not shiny?

LART liquids should be applied in very thin layers. Applying too much Gel Base may make the nail unnecessarily thick, while an excessively thick finishing layer can result in a dull surface.

Why is Gel Top not drying?

Make sure Quick Dry was applied before Gel Top and that the nail surface was completely dry. Gel Top should be applied only in two very thin layers.

Why has my Gel Top become thick?

The brush may have transferred activator back into the bottle. Wipe the brush carefully with a lint-free pad during application to reduce contamination of the product.

What should I do if the brush becomes hard?

Wipe the brush with a lint-free pad before placing it back into the bottle. If it has already hardened, use LART Brush Cleaner according to the product instructions.

How does LART Brush Cleaner work?

Brush Cleaner is designed for cleaning brushes used with liquid products in LART dip powder systems.

  • Helps clean product residue from brushes.
  • Compatible with LART PRO and SUPREME liquids.
  • Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
How should I care for bottles containing liquid products?

Keep bottle necks clean and make sure the products are tightly closed after use. Avoid transferring powder or activator residue into the bottles.

Do I need to use a primer?

Primer is not normally required with the LART dip powder system. For more demanding nail plates, a compatible LART primer may be used according to its product instructions.

How should I store and maintain LART liquid products?

Keep bottles clean and tightly closed. Regularly clean residue from bottle necks and prevent cleaning liquids or other products from entering the bottle.

How do I safely remove a LART PRO dip powder manicure?

The manicure can be professionally removed with an appropriate e-file technique or soaked off with acetone after the surface has been carefully filed. Always avoid excessive filing of the natural nail plate.

What should I do if the bottle will not open?

Do not force the cap, as this may damage the glass bottle. Clean product residue from the bottle neck regularly to help prevent the cap from sticking.

04.

LART SUPREME

How do I apply the LART SUPREME dip powder system?

SUPREME was created as a simplified dip powder system with fewer liquid products and fewer application steps.

  1. Prepare the cuticle area.
  2. Gently mattify and shape the natural nail plate.
  3. Apply Gel Supreme to part of the nail and dip into SUPREME colour powder.
  4. Remove excess powder with a soft brush.
  5. Build the structure gradually with another Gel Supreme and colour powder layer.
  6. Apply the final colour layer over the entire nail.
  7. Gently refine and smooth the surface.
  8. Remove all remaining dust.
  9. Make sure the nail surface is completely dry.
  10. Apply Shine Formula according to the product instructions.
  11. Finish with two very thin layers of Gel Supreme.
  12. Once fully dry, finish with cuticle oil.
Can I use LART PRO building powder with the SUPREME system?

Yes. If you choose to use a PRO building powder within a SUPREME application, Quick Dry is also required to activate and harden the PRO powder.

Why is Gel Supreme applied gradually when building the nail?

Progressive application helps create the correct nail structure and reinforce the free edge and central area without adding unnecessary product around the cuticles.

The final colour layer can then be applied over the entire nail plate.

Do I need to use a primer with SUPREME?

Primer is not normally required. For particularly demanding nail plates, use a compatible LART primer according to its instructions.

How do I add shine and protect a SUPREME manicure?

Gel Supreme also acts as the finishing product. Once the nail has been properly shaped and smoothed, apply Shine Formula and finish with two very thin layers of Gel Supreme.

Why is Gel Supreme not drying?

Make sure Shine Formula has been used correctly and that the nails are completely dry before the final Gel Supreme layers are applied. The finishing layers should be very thin.

Why has Gel Supreme become thick?

Activator residue may have been transferred into the bottle. Keep the brush clean during application and avoid returning contaminated product to the bottle.

Can I use Brush Cleaner with SUPREME?

Yes. LART Brush Cleaner is compatible with both PRO and SUPREME liquid products.

How do I safely remove a SUPREME dip powder manicure?

SUPREME can be professionally removed with an appropriate e-file technique or soaked off with acetone after the top surface has been carefully filed.

Why choose LART dip powder?

Why choose a dip powder manicure?

Dip powder is an alternative to traditional gel polish systems. It creates a durable, reinforced manicure and does not require curing the powder layers under a UV/LED lamp.

Who is dip powder manicure suitable for?

Dip powder can be used on many different nail types and is particularly useful when additional structure and reinforcement are desired.

Does dip powder damage the natural nail?

Damage to the natural nail plate is most commonly associated with incorrect filing or removal technique rather than the powder system itself. Work gently and avoid excessive filing.

Can LART dip powder products be combined with other brands?

Some powders may work with products from other systems, but we recommend using compatible LART liquids together to achieve the performance and durability intended for the system.

Additional Information

What should I avoid when applying dip powder?

Avoid products that leave an oily or softened surface immediately before application, as they may affect adhesion. Follow the preparation instructions for the selected LART system.

How should I refine a colour powder layer?

Work very gently with a buffer rather than aggressively filing the colour layer. Excessive filing may remove or distort the colour.

How can I protect the colour from filing through?

Protect PRO colour powder with an appropriate clear building powder, such as Natural Clear Powder or Diamond Clear Powder, before final refining.

Why can some colours change shade?

Strong UV exposure may affect some shades, especially whites, pastels and neons. A compatible clear powder layer can be used to provide additional protection over the colour.
